Problem Statement

How might we re-invent the workflow for financial-related learning portals to make content and concepts simple and easier to digest?

Challenges

Within the financial services industry, there's always a challenge to keep up with training - regulatory compliance training. It's an uphill battle because federal and state regulations are constantly evolving, making it very hard to keep up with the number of required training. Our goal is to reimagine the learning process and deliver training courses in a way that's engaging and useful.

9 out of 10 users dislike any type of mandatory training.

Our Approach

Keep training materials digestible: Employee's time is precious and often limited. The training lessons should be brief, concise and simple enough to be completed in short timeframes.
Keep users accountable: Encourage participation and recall by implementing grades and progress report cards.
Provide mobile experience: Allow users to interact and collaborate in a more flexible, mobile, and engaging way, using smartphones and tablets.

Final Words

It's not a surprise 9 out of 10 users dislike any type of mandatory training. Some say it's because of the boring and long content form. Others say it's the system that is outdated that ruins the experience. In either case, regulatory and compliance training isn't going away, so why not make the learning experience fun and engaging?

E-Learning is the future of learning. There's a lot of new features that will enhance the online learning experience including but not limited to: elastic search, course categorized by content type, course type and more, single sign-on, real-time report cards, building lesson plans, performance review integrations and more.
